I love that. I will fight to never go sour. I will fight to never be defeated by my own conceited mind, or jealousy. I will fight to be like the people I know who can endure. Who can forbear. Who are able to sustain dialogue with others no matter what.

Making a personal goal - tomorrow kicks off a new 49 day cycle taking me to August 23rd. Sensei, I will work harder than ever to keep my promises.

Praying out loud

All dieties gather together and enter into my life - put your power to work.
I want to experience the power of prayer. I want to fuse with my mentor.
I want to bring forth the same life condition as Nichiren Daishonin.
I want to believe that I am the entity of the Mystic Law and live with this kind of awareness.
I want to put your mind at ease.

I want to believe we are all Buddhas already.
I want to believe that in my own heart I have the Gohonzon.
I want to courageously wield the sharp sword of daimoku to conquer fundamental darkness.
I want to live with a lifelong determination to protect my mentor.

A single moment of life - instant after instant - the 3 Buddha Bodies
- Engrave this in my heart. Sincerity.
I want my faith rooted in mentor and disciple.
I want to think of Sensei at all times.
Perceive the truth of one's own life.
Never be defeated.
Chant until you produce the results.
